The Jackson Youth Basketball Association (JYBA), supporting the boy’s kindergarten through varsity programs, has initiated a fund raising campaign to replace the two old scoreboards in the Jackson High School gymnasium with two new larger energy efficient LED scoreboards. These new scoreboards will include player statistic panels on the side. Through fund raising, the JYBA has provided $3,000 of seed money towards this $30,000 project. All funding for the scoreboards will be through community corporate sponsorships.

Your financial support towards advertising sponsorship of signage on these scoreboards can lead to the accomplishment of the JYBA’s goal of purchase and installation before the 2008/2009 basketball season.

The JYBA is a not-for-profit organization, 501(c)3, formed in 2005 with the vision and mission of supporting all levels of boy’s basketball in Jackson Township from the youth leagues through varsity program. Since its inception three years ago, the JYBA has established itself as a dynamic and dedicated group of parents, coaches and volunteers whose focus is on advancing positive instruction to develop the spirit of competition, sportsmanship, and scholastic achievement in all participants.

JYBA accomplishments

Purchased new uniforms for the Boy’s Varsity Basketball Program.

Subsidize the middle school / high school players practice package (shoes, jersey, and shorts).

Coordinate weekly in-season team feeds for the JV / Varsity program.

Payment of registration fees for the high school programs summer basketball camps and leagues.

Provided training equipment and locker room furnishings.

Provide financial stipends for various members of the coaching staff.

In three years, the youth program (kindergarten through 6^th grade) has grown from 220 participants to over 500 participants.

Provide financial support to six youth travel teams.

Hosts the Polar Bear Classic Youth Basketball tournament, attended by over 45 teams.

Option #1 - $5,500

Company name/logo displayed on approx. 2 ½ ft x 5ft signage attached to scoreboard.

Company name/logo displayed for five years then first right for renewal at $500 for two years.

Company website will be displayed and linked for five years to the JYBA website.

Company will be provided a full page ad in Boys Varsity Basketball Program for five years.

Company name/logo signage will be paid for by the JYBA.

Estimated annual total cost of advertising will be $800 based on 5yrs ($572 based on 7yrs).

Option #2 - $3,750

Company name/logo displayed on approx. 2 ½ ft x 3 ½ ft signage attached to scoreboard.

Company name/logo displayed for three years then first right for renewal at $375 for two years.

Company website will be displayed for three years on the JYBA website

Company name/logo signage will be paid for by the JYBA.
