Dear Coaches, Parents, and Players:

Welcome to the 2008 Jackson Polar Bear Classic! Thank you for being a part of our largest and most competitive field yet. This year’s tournament field consists of teams from all over Northeast Ohio as well as few guests from eastern and southern Ohio. We are very excited about this year’s tournament and are looking forward to a fun weekend of hoops!

This packet includes game schedules for each team and a master game schedule for the entire weekend. Games will be played at five gyms located at two sites. Jackson Memorial Middle School, located on Mudbrook Dr. just west of SR-241, is equipped with two full size gyms. It will serve as tournament headquarters and will host championship day on Sunday. We would ask all teams and spectators to enter through the east side of the building. There will be a full concession stand and tournament officials to greet you and guide you as necessary.

Games will also be played at three gyms at Jackson High School, located on Fulton Dr. just south of the middle school. Our newest auxiliary gym was just completed and this tournament will mark the christening of that gym. All gyms are accessible from the west side of the building. We believe that our facilities are unparalleled in Northeast Ohio and will create a great tournament atmosphere for your team!

If you have questions while you are at either of these facilities, please ask any of our tournament staff or volunteers and they will be happy to assist you. Once again, thank you for participating in this year’s tournament and good luck!
